Work Conditions
Fruit Picking is quite physical, involving ladder-climbing, and often the weather is very warm.

We prefer to employ pairs of workers to single people. All aspects of accommodation, work routines and fruit bins are worked out around pairs of people.

Pickers are placed in groups or "gangs" of approx 15 to 20. The "ganger" in charge of that group trains and helps pickers in the correct picking technique and keeps their bin tallies.

Hours

Monday - Thursday	6.30am-12.00pm 1.00pm-4.00pm
Friday	6.30am-12.00pm 1.00pm-3.00pm

Additional work may also be available.

Accommodation
H V McNab & Son Pty Ltd have two caravan parks / camping areas on their property. We cater for tents, caravans, camper-vans and some buses. Sites are powered and set amongst lawned gardens, with communal facilities including BBQs, showers and laundries with coin-operated washing machines.

Barracks accommodation is available for mixed sexes and for males only.

Rental for all accommodation types is $7 per day.
